How do I know what game kit is best for my group?

Each kit can be enjoyed by a wide range of participants: different ages, interests, and abilities (except for the kits that include small pieces or choking hazards for the very young).

We work to provide kits that both challenge the determined engineering mind as well as engage the more reserved learner. These sets allow informal STEM learning simply through the process of trial and error, as well as quiet observation! 

 
How many individuals can one game set occupy at a time?

Each kit is built for large and diverse groups. In general, though, one kit should occupy anywhere from approximately 10-25 participants. The ideal number of participants varies by the ages, groupings, and supervision involved, in addition to the game kit chosen!

 
What is the Set-up on Delivery option?

If desired, our delivery specialist will set up your game kit in a ready-to-use format. This can be helpful for some of the more challenging games (such as Pipes & Pressure) or for a special occasion. If this option is not chosen, the game kit will arrive in several bins or boxes and will simply be delivered to your location. The Set-up on Delivery service is included in the pricing for any of the Hosted Event options.

 
What is the Hosted Event option?

The Hosted Event option brings our staff to your location to set up and lead your group’s interaction with your game kit. For the first game kit reserved, we charge an hourly rate plus the Set-up on Delivery fee. For each additional game kit reserved at a Hosted Event, there is an add-on Hosted Charge option listed under Hosted Events.

 
What is your delivery area?

We provide free delivery within 20 miles of our base location in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. There is an additional $1.95/mile charge for deliveries outside of the 20-mile radius.

 
What can I expect at delivery?

Within the checkout process, you will be asked to select a delivery timeframe. Please provide any details we might need for deliveries in the ‘Notes’ section of checkout: specific time requests, where to enter your building, or contact names & numbers. We are often able to meet specific requests. Also, be sure the adult responsible for supervising the use of our games is the one completing the liability waiver in checkout.

 
Do you charge a damage deposit?

No, we currently do not. We want you to enjoy your time with our games, but please understand that there are limitations to how they should be used. some components, including the bins and the lids, can be easily broken, and you are responsible for the cost of replacing damaged items.
