Maker Studio Package

This is the maker’s dream set!

Bins and bins full of various materials on a rolling cart along with 15 table-top supply caddies, all sorted and labeled by purpose, plus 4 paper trays. Do you want to use zip ties, cardboard tubes, straws, or elastic bands? Glue, clothespins, string, or tape? So much to choose from!

Each Maker Studio package option will showcase the engineering concept you select with an assortment of materials specifically curated for that package. Make your selection based on a few of our challenge ideas!

Options:

1. Lift Off – Levitation

With our 4 floor air blowers, challenge your groups to lift and hold a penny (or action figure) in the air for a certain amount of time. Or, see if they can launch and land the penny in a specific location, using whatever materials they choose.

2. Let’s Roll – Rotation & Friction

3. Sink or Swim – Submersion & Flotation

Each of the Materials & Design Studio theme package options will come with enough materials for groups of about 15-20 at a time, for a total of about 45-60 individuals per day. This, will depend on your groups using the materials wisely. Being mindful of material use and waste means more creative fun for everyone!
